The introductory class for our second session of Empowering Women is on

Join us in Bedford, NY to continue building a solid foundation of financial education for women!

Empowering Women is a continuing education group for women who want to be savvy about money, financial planning and investments. The group is led by Kathy Boyle CFP® and President of Chapin Hill Advisors - a 20 year veteran of the investment business and frequent expert guest on CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fox Business News.

Each month, Empowering Women will cover topics in:

·         Financial market mechanics – What’s the difference between small and large cap stocks, what's an option, what's an index, and how do I read charts, evaluate performance, and read a balance sheet?

·         Global, national, and local economic trends - How will the mortgage crisis impact the US economy, what's happening with the real estate market in Westchester, and how long will the recession last, how will it affect me?

·         Investment personalities - personal risk tolerance & aversion, rationality & emotionality, and intra-marital differences in planning and investment styles.

·         Personal planning - preparing for retirement: how much is enough; responding to job loss, providing for children, putting philanthropy in your life

The group is open to women of varying levels of experience.
